CG Rigger
Position Overview
The CG Rigger conceptualizes and creates character and prop rigs in accordance with the aesthetic, creative and technical quality standards of the production while meeting production deadlines. Possess a strong knowledge of Autodesk Maya.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a broad range of rigging abilities in a collaborative environment to create character and prop rigs.
- Maintain and communicate a strong knowledge of innovative production technologies and tools in the area of rigging.
- Coordinate with the modeling department to ensure that the proper topology for assets is used.
- Meet project deadlines and milestones, including weekly quotas, as set by project leads and the production department.
- Actively participate in team / department meetings.
- Work well within a team as well as an individual.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
- Be able to relocate to work in-house in Vancouver
- Be able to work in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
